Disclaimer for Dr. Pillai’s 2019 Guru Purnima Retreat

In consideration for Dr Baskaran Pillai, the Pillai Center and Vaaak Sounds, Inc accepting my application to participate in Dr Baskaran Pillai’s 2018 Prosperity Through Enlightenment Intensive Retreat in San Diego, July 26 - 28, 2018:

1.  I agree to accept full and complete liability for my participation in Dr Pillai’s Prosperity Through Enlightenment Intensive Retreat (hereafter referred to as ‘event’)
2.  I understand and accept that due to the spiritual nature of  this event, Dr Baskaran Pillai, the Pillai Center, Vaaak Sounds, Inc, and/or its and/or, its officers, directors, employees, contractors and agents make no representation and/or give any warranty as to any outcome resulting and/or arising from my participation and its activities.
3. I hereby release Dr Baskaran Pillai, the Pillai Center, Vaaak Sound Inc and/or, its officers, directors, employees, contractors and agents from any and all liability associated with my participation. I acknowledge that my participation and experience(s)  are unique to myself and that Dr Pillai the Pillai Center and/or Vaaak Sounds, Inc do not guarantee any result related to my participation in this event.
4. I acknowledge as a condition of my attendance in the Prosperity Through Enlightenment Intensive Retreat, that I am registering for an activity, which may involve physical, emotional, and/or psychological activity and that in case of such an undertaking there is always a risk involved. I understand that Dr Baskaran Pillai, the Pillai Center, Vaaak Sound Inc and/or, its officers, directors, employees, contractors and agents cannot always monitor my physical, emotional, and psychological limits, and that I am therefore assuming full responsibility for assessing the risk any activity poses to me, and choosing a safe course of action for myself.
5. I understand that my image or likeness may be captured on video or by photograph at various times during the retreat and these images or video captures may be shared by Pillai Center.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY: DR BASKARAN PILLAI, THE PILLAI CENTER, VAAAK SOUND INC AND/OR, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS AND/OR VOLUNTEERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS (WHETHER DIRECT, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL) WHATSOEVER OR ILLNESS YOU SUFFER WHILE YOU ARE ATTENDING THIS EVENT.

DR BASKARAN PILLAI, THE PILLAI CENTER AND/OR VAAAK SOUNDS INC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE WHATSOEVER BY REASON OF ANY FAILURE OR DELAY IN THE PERFORMANCE OF ITS OBLIGATIONS ON ACCOUNT OF STRIKES, SHORTAGES, RIOTS, INSURRECTION, FIRES, FLOOD, STORM, EXPLOSIONS, ACTS OF GOD, WARS, GOVERNMENTAL ACTION, TERRORISM, TERRORISM WARNINGS, LABOR CONDITIONS, AIRLINE CANCELLATIONS, EARTHQUAKES, MATERIAL SHORTAGES, OR ANY OTHER CAUSE BEYOND THE REASONABLE CONTROL OF SUCH PARTY.

I understand and acknowledge that my participation is strictly voluntary. I have read and willingly accept the terms of this release of liability agreement

By signing this release of liability form, I acknowledge that I am relinquishing all future legal rights and take full responsibility for any personal injury, death or damage to personal property associated with Dr Pillai’s Prosperity Through Enlightenment Intensive Retreat 2018.

I agree to indemnify and hold Dr Baskaran Pillai, the Pillai Center, Vaaak Sound Inc and/or, its officers, directors, employees, contractors and agents harmless from and against any claim, cause of action or demand, including without limitation reasonable legal and fees, arising out of my participation.
